CineVic presents the seventh annual CINE⚡️SPARK -- your chance to earn a production package worth more than $20,000 to make your short film. Open to to screenwriters and filmmakers from the Vancouver Island & Gulf Islands region -- only submission requirement is a short screenplay, 10 pages or less.

Each year, the Top 5 writers pitch their projects to a live audience and judging panel at the Short Circuit Pacific Rim Film Festival in Victoria. The winner walks away with the prize and has one year to create their film before a premiere screening at the next festival.

Regular Deadline: 1 January 2023
Late Deadline: 1 February 2023
