Isle of the Arts (IoTA) 2026 WORKSHOP: Tending Creative Identity as a Caregiver

TedX speaker, author, artist and poet, Louise Gallagher is a resilience strategist who uses 20 years of frontline experience in the homeless-serving sector to help others reclaim their identity. 

When caregiving threatens to consume identity, this workshop offers a path back. Through visual tools and generative prose, participants will dismantle the “Noble Caregiver” archetype and make a space where the creative still exists.

WEAR: Comfortable clothing.

BRING: A notebook and pen, and a cushion for your chair if you desire.
