Moving, surprising, and often unexpectedly funny, ”Boy Player” is the true story of what happened when Frank Moher was orphaned as a kid, and he suddenly found himself transplanted from Edmonton, Alberta to New York City. It's also about how he eventually met Diana, his wife, who had been through similar experiences as a child, and how finding your passion -- in Frank's case, theatre and Diana -- can change, and possibly save, your life. Filled with great musical theatre songs and sometimes deeply emotional, "Boy Player" will touch your heart, and lift it, too..
Tickets are $25 each. You can buy a double bill pass for both shows on opening night for only $40.
Tickets will also be for sale (cash, e-transfer, or card payment) at the agricultural hall farmer's markets each Saturday leading up to the festival.
Gabriola Theatre Centre also has an accessible ticket program. You can access a free ticket (while stocks last) by submitting a request form on our website. No questions asked.
