The genius of Miles Black. He is a highly respected career musician with an enormous wealth of musical experience and expertise in the many facets of the music industry. Canada’s most accomplished jazz pianist, a highly acclaimed and sought after arranger, producer, composer, session musician, guitarist, vocalist, bassist, saxophonist, songwriter, and musical theatre director. And. And has worked as a music therapist and collegiate music instructor.
On February 9th, Mike Allen presents Jazz on Gabriola and welcomes Miles to the Phoenix Auditorium at 3 pm. John Lee will accompany Miles on bass and Graham Villette on drums. As a special treat, the trio will welcome local musicians: Nicole Poynter, Dick Smith, Pat Armstrong, and Rob Chermay, with of course Mike Allen.
