Join Dirk Huysman July 25-27th at the Gabriola Arts & Heritage Centre to celebrate his first solo show. A combination of his musings in glass and photography.

Opening Friday, July 25th, from 7-9 pm with Dirk’s first artist talk: art through the eyes of technology, at 7:15 pm. The gallery will be open Saturday, July 26th, from 10-4 pm with Dirk’s second artist’s talk: technology through the eyes of art, at 2:30 pm. Sunday, July 27th, gallery hours 11-3 pm.

"This multi-genre show is a result of reflections on technology. Inspired by these reflections, I have attempted to grapple with how technology influences our aesthetic as artists, as well as viewers, and how creativity is influenced by the concept of technology.
