New Ways to Borrow and lnvest in Gabriola's Future

Gabriola's Community Investment and Loans Co-op has organized, and is co-sponsoring with the Chamber of Commerce, an evening event on Tuesday October 27th so that entrepreneurs and non-profit directors on Gabe can learn how innovative community bonds, impact investment platforms and local co-operative lending can help fund businesses, housing, renewable energy & other projects that strengthen communities – while earning stable returns for the investors.

Presenters will be Omar Mawji who is fund manager for Weave Community Capital Fund; Emily Mercy, co-founder & managing director of Goparity Canada; and our own Carol Martin, director, GICIC.
