Paddling completely across Canada from the Pacific to Atlantic Oceans, Bert terHart had a coast-to-coast front row seat on the impacts of climate change here in our very own back yard. Join Bert Nov 21st at 7:15pm as he discusses his experiences paddling and portaging through and around landscapes scarred by floods, droughts, tornadoes and hurricanes during this extraordinary expedition. Bert terHart is an internationally acclaimed solo adventurer, a Fellow of the Royal Canadian Geographical Society, and the 2022 Explorer in Residence for the BC Historical Society. Admission is free. Donations to the Gabriola Food Bank are welcome.
