Gabriola Lions Concert on the Green

Description



This year’s Concert on the Green, August 8th, 2024, promises to be an upbeat, memorable and totally danceable event that features Vancouver band, Avalanche and opens with Gabriola’s The Poynter Project. This concert will be one that you simply cannot miss!


In addition to the awesome music, we will also have our hugely popular 50/50 draw, Raffle for a trip for two anywhere in WestJet’s world, a fantastic silent auction, great food & beverages and much, much more.


The main act is Avalanche, an upbeat dance band, and the opening act is our local band, The Poynter Project.
Open to all ages.
Advanced tickets are $20; Tickets at the gate are $25.
Children 12 and under are free.
Gates open at 3:30 p.m. No early birds!
Music starts at 5:00 p.m. and ends at 8:00 p.m.
Free parking on site. Carpooling recommended.
No pets allowed. Service dogs permitted.
Bring a picnic lunch or enjoy a burger and drinks from the Gabriola Golf Course concession.
This event is run solely by volunteers and the net proceeds will fund Gabriola Lions Club projects.

August 8th, 2024 Gates will open at 3:30 pm no pets allowed on site. Please car pool if possible.
