The GVFD is raising money for People for a Healthy Community and your contribution will make an impact, whether you donate a lot or a little. Anything helps. Thank you for your support. PHC is a community based, not for profit organization serving Gabriola Island. They support individuals and families during vulnerable times in their lives, while strengthening community resilience. Vulnerability can occur at any stage of life, in an acute or chronic way. Their programs focus on three key social determinants of health: improving food security, reducing social isolation, and supporting academic success. PHC programs and services have touched 1 in 7 Gabriola residents.
