Through music, art, and spoken words the Transgender community will share their many contributions to this world. 

Together as a community we can honour inclusivity by simply showing up with an open heart and open mind!

March 31, is International Transgender Day of Visibility, and it is a very special and powerful day for people to come together and show their support so that Gabriola Island feels safe and welcoming for everyone.

Right now many trans and non-binary people (especially youth) are facing Canadian policies, legislation, and public debate that question their identities and dignity. In times like this, community matters more than ever.

Trans Day of Visibility isn’t just a celebration...it’s also a reminder that community means standing together. Showing up is a simple but powerful way to say: you belong here and you are valued.

Please consider coming out on March 31 to the Gabriola Theatre Centre, to stand with our trans/ non-binary community and celebrate the courage, resilience, and contributions of trans/non binary people everywhere.

Come celebrate a fun afternoon meant for the whole community, with music, stories, art, and comedy.

Because when a room fills with people who care, the message becomes louder than fear and politics. Your support as a community at this time is invaluable.
