“No Mom is an Island” came to me in my first year of Motherhood… 

I often felt alone, and adrift, navigating my deepest wish, and my hardest truth.

Motherhood is difficult.

It’s sticky, and sleepless, it’s confusion, guilt ridden, and full of questions.

This collection of photographs is a consideration of feelings experienced in motherhood, for which I am eternally grateful, as they’ve continued to teach and guide me.
