Donsflicks & earthcaregabriola invite you to a special benefit screening of documentary film REMATRIATION. 
Winner of the Vancouver International Mountain Film Festival’s “Best Environmental Film” award, REMATRIATION is about Indigenous peoples’ relationship to the land, the destruction of sacred forests, resistance to that that destruction, and a reclaiming of our respect for other life forms. From Patriarchy to Matriarchy.
All proceeds of this event will support the ongoing legal defence for The Dzunuk’wa Society members who stood up at Fairy Creek to protect Old Growth Forest.
The film will follow a brief welcome reception and musical performance by @amandalemay and @conniecocolalla
