The KHA situation are pleased to present our 5th annual Solstice Sound Intensive. A night to explore the darker side of sound and experimental music while surrounded by entrancing video projections. At the GAHC- Sunday the 21st, from 7:30 until 10ish. This year, we are very pleased to be hosting Zen Escalator, an experimental, improvising electronic due based between Galiano Island and Vancouver. https://zenescalator.bandcamp.com/. Alex Varty will perform an experimental set with surprise instruments, maybe heavy on the ring modulator. Thrums will dive deep into the joy of the darkest night, and the implied return of light on the other side. We'll be spinning the blackest wool yet- a blend of Icelandic, Jacob (the most metal of the sheep) and Welsh Black Mountain. We'll make noise with noise.
