As part of IoTA, we’re excited to share a special event in partnership with the Gabriola Theatre Centre and GAC: The Knitting Pilgrim on April 3 at 7 PM. 

This unique, one-hour, one-man show features Kirk Dunn knitting in front of three large projection screens, sharing his journey as a churchgoer, actor, and knitter. Following the show, there will be a 30-45 minute talkback. 

The performance explores Kirk’s experience creating a triptych of tapestries inspired by stained-glass windows, reflecting on the shared roots and differences of the Abrahamic faiths, sparked by the tragedy of 9/11.
