Description


Formed in 2019, Wooler was originally a studio recording project lead by composer/band leader Alias Powell, motivated by idea of being free from artistic constraints such as genre, musical trends, image, desire to be popular, or technical limitations. The result was a dense soundscape bouncing around many genres, with noise/feedback, horns, improvised drums, guitar solos, some spoken word, and unorthodox melodies.
